5 airlines enter Terminal 3

Speaking to Tuoi Tre Online , a leader of an airline confirmed that on August 13th, a meeting was held with Tan Son Nhat International Airport and the Vietnam Airports Corporation (ACV) regarding the operational plan for Terminal 3.

Accordingly, in addition to Vietnam Airlines , which is currently operating there, four domestic airlines will gradually move to Terminal 3, including Bamboo Airways, starting from August 18th.

Pacific Airlines and VASCO are expected to resume operations from August 19th. Vietravel Airlines from August 21st.

Therefore, Terminal 3 will have 5 domestic airlines: Vietnam Airlines, Bamboo Airways, Pacific Airlines, VASCO, and Vietravel Airlines.

Meanwhile, Vietjet continues to operate at Terminal 1, instead of switching to Terminal 3 as originally planned.

Bamboo Airways offers free ticket changes for passengers who arrive at the wrong station.

Bamboo Airways announced that all domestic flights will be moved from Terminal T1 to Terminal T3 starting at 0:00 on August 18th.

Between August 18th and 25th, passengers who miss their flight departing from Terminal 3 due to lack of information will be able to exchange their tickets free of charge for the next available flight on the same route if they arrive within 20 minutes of departure time and are confirmed by ground staff.

If the next available flight is fully booked, the airline will still switch passengers to the nearest available flight, provided there is no price difference. For routes with only one flight per day, passengers will be transferred to a flight the following day.

The company is increasing announcements on its website, fanpage, SMS, email, and Zalo OA; and also recommends that customers proactively check the information to avoid confusion.

Terminal T3 is a modern facility, comprising 90 traditional check-in counters, 20 self-service drop-off counters, 42 check-in kiosks, and 27 boarding gates…

Bamboo Airways flights will check in at counters 45-50, opposite gates D2 and D3, which may be expanded to counters 43-52 as needed. The last-minute ticket counter is located at gate D2 for passenger convenience.
