In the recent high school graduation exam, Lam Minh Huy scored 10 in Math, 10 in Physics, 9.75 in Chemistry, with a total score of 29.75 for block A00, becoming the national runner-up.
“I was happy and surprised, especially the Literature subject got a score higher than expected. I had estimated some of the three subjects Math - Physics - Chemistry after the exam, but Literature surprised me the most,” Huy shared.
The first people Huy thought of were his parents and teachers, who had accompanied him throughout 12 years of studying. As soon as he saw his scores, Huy immediately called his family to thank his teachers and friends.
With a near-perfect score, Huy plans to apply to the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, where his brother is also a fourth-year student.

Loving Math, right from his junior high school years, Huy was determined to take the entrance exam to the specialized Math class of Luong Van Chanh High School for the Gifted to pursue his passion. Here, the male student constantly made efforts: studying hard in class, proactively reviewing early, registering for online courses, taking regular practice tests and discussing with teachers to review knowledge.
“ This year’s new generaleducation program requires a very high level of accuracy; even a small mistake will result in a 0.5 point deduction. Therefore, I studied very carefully, from the school’s and the Department’s exam system, to the strange questions I found online, downloaded, tried, and then asked my teachers,” Huy said.
Besides studying time, Huy still spends reasonable time entertaining by playing games, listening to music, especially Blackpink. "Besides studying time, I also like listening to music, I idolize the group Blackpink, especially singer Jisoo" - Huy laughed,
Not only is Huy a good student, he is also an exemplary class monitor. During his 3 years at Luong Van Chanh High School for the Gifted, he was an excellent student and had the highest average grade point average in the school.
In addition to those achievements, Huy also won many awards such as: Second prize for excellent students in the province in Mathematics, Third prize in the 9th Phu Yen Province Youth and Children's Creativity Contest, and Encouragement prize in the provincial Science and Technology Contest. Not only is he a good student, he also achieved 7.5 IELTS and 1101 points in the competency assessment exam of Ho Chi Minh City National University.

Huy will study at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology in the future.
According to Mr. Huynh Tan Chau, Principal of Luong Van Chanh High School for the Gifted, Huy is a well-rounded student with a long history of stable achievements and continuous progress through each school year. “With this year’s very difficult Math exam, getting a score of 10 is extremely rare. But Huy has excellent thinking and perseverance, which is what helped him overcome challenges and achieve results that the school is extremely proud of,” commented Mr. Chau.
Not only Lam Minh Huy, this year, Luong Van Chanh High School for the Gifted also has another student ranked 3rd nationwide in block B00, contributing to bringing Dak Lak province into the top 10 localities with the highest number of candidates achieving 10 points nationwide.
