Sharing with VietnamNet , Tuan Dung said that during the exam, he was very confident so getting an absolute result was not too surprising to him.
Tuan Dung was introduced to Computer Science quite early by his parents. Since grade 5, he has learned programming, done exercises on algorithms in Computer Science and used C++ language to write code.
However, it was not until 8th grade that he became interested in this subject and decided to study systematically to take the entrance exam for the IT specialized class. Once he had a goal, Tuan Dung focused on learning competitive programming and solving problems in the exam. This way of learning was really effective for him, helping Tuan Dung win many awards at the city and provincial levels.

Control yourself well in cyberspace
Sharing the secret to getting high scores in Computer Science, Tuan Dung said: “Every day I spend 3 hours reviewing my lessons and doing the exercises given by my teachers. In addition, I also practice solving previous years’ exam questions from some schools and do more tests on websites specializing in programming math.”
For Tuan Dung, the most important thing that helps him achieve good academic results is a serious and open-minded attitude towards learning, knowing how to control himself during the learning process, not getting caught up in attractive games on the internet, and studying with a relaxed spirit, not putting pressure on himself.
In addition, according to Tuan Dung, in addition to good IT knowledge, it is necessary to have a solid foundation in Mathematics to deeply understand and develop programming solutions in IT. Therefore, he not only focuses on the specialized exam subjects but also tries hard to study Mathematics and other cultural subjects.
Mr. Vo Ta Nam, a teacher of Information Technology at Le Van Thiem Secondary School, said: Tuan Dung is an intelligent student, eager to learn, and proactive in learning. He has a creative mindset, especially in Information Technology, and likes to explore and improve this subject.
Before achieving a perfect score in IT in the 10th grade entrance exam to Ha Tinh Specialized High School, Tuan Dung achieved a perfect score of 20/20 in the provincial IT competition, becoming the valedictorian of this competition.
“Not only is Tuan Dung a good student, he is also loved by teachers and friends for his gentle, humble personality and willingness to help others. Continuing his studies at Ha Tinh Specialized School, I believe Tuan Dung will continue to strive to achieve new goals,” said Mr. Nam.
