8th grade male student was beaten by a group of classmates in class

On September 27, information from Mr. Vo Huu Tran, Principal of Trung Hieu Secondary School (Vung Liem District, Vinh Long Province) said that the school had asked the police for support, to verify and handle the case of a group of 8 students involved in the beating of a classmate.

The school also reported the case of the student being beaten to the Departmentof Education and Training of Vung Liem district, and worked with the parents of the students involved.

According to teacher Vo Huu Tran, the beaten male student suffered soft tissue injuries and had to be hospitalized for treatment. The male student has now been discharged from the hospital and returned home. The school has coordinated with relevant agencies to visit and encourage the student and his family and to handle the students involved.

Initial information, the incident of the male student being beaten by a group of people happened on September 23 at Trung Hieu Secondary School. A group of 8th grade students used helmets, plastic chairs, hands and feet to continuously hit the body and head of a classmate. The beaten male student sat with his legs curled up on a chair, leaning against the wall and holding his head to endure the beating from the group of classmates.

At the moment the male student was beaten, someone used a phone to film it. The clip was then released and spread on social media, causing public outrage. Images from the clip, which is more than 3 minutes long, show a group of students repeatedly and brutally beating their classmate on the body and head.

Some students even stood on the table and kicked their classmates who were huddled under the chair, and even jumped up to kick their classmates' heads and necks with both feet...
