Dong Nai handles 302 violations in the peak of the fight against counterfeit goods and trade fraud

According to the Provincial People's Committee, during the peak period of implementing the Prime Minister's Official Dispatch No. 65/CD-TTg on launching a peak period of fighting to prevent and repel smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, infringement of intellectual property rights and Directive No. 13/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister on strengthening the fight against smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods in the new situation in Dong Nai, from May 15 to June 15, the functional forces in the province detected and handled 302 violations. Of which, 2 criminal cases were prosecuted with 3 defendants. The amount of money collected for the budget was about 66 billion VND, of which the amount of tax arrears reached more than 40.9 billion VND, the amount of fines reached more than 25 billion VND.

In the coming time, the Provincial People's Committee will direct functional forces to firmly grasp the areas under their responsibility, management areas, investigate, collect information; coordinate to effectively implement the peak plan against smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods, and infringement of intellectual property rights in the province. At the same time, promptly detect and arrest cases of large-scale violations, cases of smuggling, production and trading of prohibited goods, counterfeit goods, and poor-quality goods, especially food and functional foods that directly affect people's health and focus on fighting on e-commerce...
