Ensure proper implementation of regulations on decentralization and delegation of authority in the field of science and technology.

(DN)- On June 23, the Ministry of Science and Technology held a conference on decentralization, delegation of authority, and assignment of authority in the field of science and technology. The conference was held in person and online at 63 science and technology departments of provinces and centrally run cities. Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Bui Hoang Phuong chaired the conference.

At Dong Nai bridge, Deputy Director of Department of Science and Technology Nguyen Thi Thuy Linh chaired the conference.

The conference was held to ensure proper implementation of regulations and timely removal of obstacles and difficulties in the process of performing tasks that the Central Government has decentralized, delegated, and assigned authority to localities in the fields of science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation.

Previously, the Government issued Decree No. 132/2025/ND-CP of the Government regulating the division of authority of local governments at two levels in the field of state management of the Ministry of Science and Technology and Decree No. 133/2025/ND-CP regulating the decentralization and delegation of authority in the field of state management of the Ministry of Science and Technology. These decrees take effect from July 1, 2025.
