Young man missing while climbing Hoang Nguu Son mountain

Although search and rescue forces have been deployed for many hours, by 2:50 p.m.

Initial information from the People's Committee of Nam Nha Trang Ward said that, earlier on the morning of August 4, Mr. Nguyen Ba KC (born in 2003, residing in Phan Rang Ward ( Khanh Hoa ) parked his motorbike at a house on Do Xuan Hop Street, Nam Nha Trang Ward, to start his journey to experience climbing Hoang Nguu Son Mountain in Dong Bo area, Nam Nha Trang Ward. However, at 6:00 p.m. the same day, acquaintances did not see Mr. C return so they contacted his phone, the bell rang but no one answered. On the morning of August 5, some relatives asked experienced mountain climbers to search all day but were unsuccessful, so they reported to the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police at 4:45 p.m. the same day.

Immediately afterwards, the Fire and Rescue Police Team of Region 1 mobilized 7 officers and soldiers on a specialized rescue vehicle to the foot of Hoang Nguu Son mountain to coordinate with the police, militia and security forces in Nam Nha Trang ward to deploy a search and rescue plan. The search area is about 5km west of Nguyen Tat Thanh Avenue, Nam Nha Trang ward, while this mountain range is about 972m above sea level, with many steep cliffs and deep ravines. The search gradually expanded up the mountain from the evening of August 5 to 2:50 p.m. on August 6 without results.

Many relatives of Mr. C are still gathering at the foot of Hoang Nguu Son mountain, anxiously waiting for the results of the search for this young man.

It is known that Hoang Nguu Son mountain range is one of the places that attracts many people to experience and admire the scenery of Nha Trang, while the terrain of this mountain range is very complex, with many cliffs, ravines, dense trees that obscure the view and pose many potential dangers.

Previously, on the evening of June 22, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Khanh Hoa Province Police also rescued three young men who got lost while climbing Hoang Nguu Son Mountain.
