Nam Trieu speeds up site clearance, creating a breakthrough in building model new rural areas

Focusing on site clearance for defense land swap projects, Nam Trieu ward is urgently removing difficulties to ensure progress and people's rights.

Since implementing the two-level local government model, Nam Trieu ward has focused on site clearance for projects and building model new rural areas.

The ward is currently implementing 3 defense land swap projects with a total area of ​​42.56 hectares, involving 468 households. Up to now, two compensation rounds have been approved for 416 households (12.73 hectares) with a total cost of more than 106.75 billion VND; payment to 323 households, handing over 9.82 hectares of land.

For the model new rural construction program, the ward has 2,259 households subject to site clearance. To date, the inventory has been completed, 1,416 households have been approved and compensation has been paid to 1,126 households, reaching 80%. Construction units have completed 26 routes, the remaining 24 routes are being implemented.

These are the outstanding results stated at the conference to review the 9-month tasks and deploy key tasks for the last 3 months of 2025, organized by the Nam Trieu Ward Party Committee on the afternoon of October 10.

To successfully and comprehensively implement the set targets and tasks, in the last 3 months of 2025, the Nam Trieu Ward Party Committee has set out 2 key task groups with 12 specific targets. In particular, continue to effectively implement the "Smart People's Mobilization" model to speed up the progress of site clearance and land handover for projects according to the city's direction.
