(Baoquangngai.vn) - On the morning of July 31, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang chaired the fifth meeting of the Administrative Procedure Reform Working Group and the Prime Minister's Advisory Council for Administrative Procedure Reform to evaluate the results of the first 6 months of 2024; directions and tasks in the coming time. The meeting was held directly at the Government's bridge and online to local bridges nationwide.

According to the report of the Government Office , in the first 6 months of 2024, the reform of administrative procedures, the activities of the Working Group and the Advisory Council achieved many remarkable results. 168 regulations related to business activities in 16 legal documents were reduced and simplified; 108 administrative procedures were decentralized in 21 legal documents; 247 administrative procedures and citizen papers in 25 legal documents were simplified according to the Government's specialized Resolutions. There were 40 internal administrative procedures approved by the Prime Minister for simplification and 1,012 internal administrative procedures were approved for simplification by ministries, branches and localities according to their authority.
The provision of online public services has improved significantly, the rate of online records and digitization of administrative procedure settlement results at ministries, branches and localities have increased compared to the same period in 2023. There are more than 4,500 online public services integrated and provided on the National Public Service Portal, of which many public services have been restructured and simplified implementation processes. To date, the Working Group has basically completed 13/17 tasks (no overdue tasks), the Advisory Council has completed 10/23 tasks (no overdue tasks) according to the action plan.

In Quang Ngai, the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, and the Provincial People's Committee have paid special attention to the reform of administrative procedures, leading and directing the implementation and achieving many positive results. In the first 7 months of 2024, the rate of digitized records and results of handling administrative procedures of departments and branches reached nearly 100%, over 80% at the district level and nearly 97% at the commune level.
The rate of online application receipt at the provincial level reached 81.6%, at the district level 54.7% and at the commune level 94%. In the first 7 months of 2024, there were 115 thousand transactions of payment of fees, charges and financial obligations via the National Online Public Service Portal, with more than 45 billion VND, reaching 85.6% and ranking 5th out of 63 provinces and cities.

Concluding the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang acknowledged and commended the achievements of ministries, branches and localities in implementing administrative procedure reform; at the same time, requested ministries, branches, localities and members of the Working Group to focus on performing well the assigned tasks; continue to effectively implement Project 06 of the Government.
Strengthen the role and responsibility of heads of agencies, units and localities in improving the quality of administrative procedure reform and providing public services to people and businesses. Strengthen coordination to promptly grasp and thoroughly handle difficulties and obstacles for people and businesses in implementing mechanisms, policies and administrative procedures. The assigned ministries and branches must respond to the recommendations of localities stated in Appendix 3 before August 15, 2024.
