Improve the quality of accommodation services at the end of the year

The end of the year is the time when the number of tourists coming to Vinh Phuc is forecast to increase. In order to contribute to providing convenient dining and resting services, accommodation establishments in the province are improving the quality of services to create a good impression for tourists when coming to Vinh Phuc.

Located in residential group 2, Tam Dao town, 90s homestay is a popular accommodation for many tourists. 90s homestay has a total of 80 rooms with many different room types and prices, meeting the diverse needs of tourists.

Mr. Dinh Cong Hai, manager of homestay 90s said: “Usually on holidays, Tet, weekends, our accommodation facility welcomes a large number of tourists, the room occupancy rate at these times often reaches more than 80%. To ensure service quality, the homestay increases its human resources, cooperates with partners to bring the best quality services to customers.

Along with accommodation services, currently, 90s homestay is catching up with the trend of providing all-inclusive tourism services for tourists such as Hanoi - Tam Dao shuttle service, culinary services, art and culture, renting costumes for taking photos and checking in...

In particular, during holidays and Tet, the homestay strengthens its coordination with bands to organize outdoor music live shows for music lovers. Hopefully, this will be a highlight to attract tourists to experience the services at the 90s homestay.

Weslake Hotel and Resort Vinh Phuc entertainment and resort complex, Vinh Yen city (Weslake Hotel) is also promoting the renovation of facilities and landscape decoration to create attractiveness for tourists.

Mr. Nguyen Tat Thuc, manager of Weslake Hotel, said: “After a long period of being affected by the Covid-19 pandemic and economic fluctuations, I expect the end of 2023 and the New Year and Lunar New Year of Giap Thin will be the golden time for Weslake Hotel in particular and other accommodation establishments in the province to attract many tourists.

For culinary services, the hotel currently has a team of professional chefs who can serve many different styles of dishes such as Korean, Chinese, traditional Vietnamese cuisine and European dishes.

To satisfy visitors, the hotel focuses on improving the quality of human resources, increasing promotional information, and publicly listing prices for customers to easily choose. Along with accommodation, culinary, entertainment and health care services, Weslake Hotel also promotes the development of MICE tourism products (tourism combined with conferences, seminars, incentives, events). 2023 is a year of many improvements for Vinh Phuc tourism industry, with the total number of tourists reaching more than 9.2 million, an increase of 13% and total revenue increasing by 10% over the same period in 2022. At the end of the year, the tourism industry expects to continue its growth momentum, creating an attractive attraction for tourists to Vinh Phuc.

Comrade Do Hoang Duong, Head of Tourism Management Department, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said: “In order to carry out state management of tourism, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has strengthened propaganda and raised awareness for management teams, staff of accommodation establishments and tourism service businesses to properly implement the Code of Conduct for Civilized Tourism; requiring establishments to sign a commitment not to suddenly increase prices or overcharge, while improving service quality, innovating thinking, promoting digital transformation in accommodation service management; and developing a variety of new tourism products.

To ensure the rights of tourists, currently, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism is encouraging accommodation establishments to calculate the room stay time for guests based on the actual check-in and check-out time, not based on a fixed date and time as in the old method.

Not only focusing on improving the quality of accommodation services, the system of hotels and homestays in the province also always pays attention to safety factors, strengthens the information and promotion system so that customers can easily search, contact to book rooms and services according to their needs; coordinates with localities to develop new resort and sightseeing tours, and links to effectively exploit the tourism potential in Model Cultural Villages.
