Báo Nhân dânBáo Nhân dân20/06/2024

To contribute to this goal, on June 13, the Modus Operandi Institute (France) held a session to introduce an exclusive coaching method to help businesses discover and maximize the action capacity of individuals and groups, thereby improving operational efficiency and human resource management.

At the introduction, Dr. Nguyen Thuy Phuong, Lecturerof Education at Paris Cité University (France) and Geneva University (Switzerland) and Director of the Modus Operandi Institute in Asia, highlighted the core point of the method, which is to help discover and read the "action self" of individuals in a group of human resources. From there, the method brings very important benefits to groups in general and businesses in particular.

Dr. Nguyen Thuy Phuong, Regional Director of Asia, Modus Operandi Institute shared: «The Modus Operandi coaching method, when implemented with a group of middle and senior staff of an enterprise, will bring clear benefits first of all to the participants; and then very important benefits to the enterprise. It is a method that helps identify the Outstanding Actions of each individual and team to arrange personnel in the right position according to their action capacity; create understanding, cohesion in the group and help optimize resource allocation.»

According to the founders of the Modus Operandi method - Joël Guillon and François Bellami, each person has a separate "acting self" like DNA, which is formed between the ages of 4 and 16 and when they grow up, they will operate naturally, by inertia and instinct, often without even realizing it.

Through theoretical consultations and many unique practical activities, the new method will help the subject himself and then the collective, the unit's leadership grasp the outstanding actions of each staff; as well as find strategies to make the most of those outstanding action capabilities.

Dr. Nguyen Thuy Phuong also shared the experiences and successes of many large corporations in Europe such as Microsoft, Disneyland, Michelin, Faros Education and Consulting... in applying this coaching method to many groups of employees: from senior employees to talented young employees; or helping to narrow the gap in thinking and action between generations of employees...

Co-organizing the introduction session, Ms. Ngo Thi Ngoc Lan - Director of the Northern region of Navigos Search - a company specializing in providing recruitment services for senior and middle-level personnel, highly appreciated the new and unique features of the Modus Operandi method and affirmed that this method will help businesses "keep the fire" and inspire more enthusiasm for the human resources team.

According to experts, in addition to its application in human resource development for businesses, the Modus Operandi method is also particularly effective for high school students, university students, etc., helping to clearly orientate their careers and future at important milestones in life; as well as helping to resolve psychological crises between parents and children due to lack of understanding of each other.

The Modus Operandi (Mo2i©) coaching method, observed, researched and invented by Mr. Joël Guillon over many years, has been used for nearly 20 years and is copyrighted by the National Institute of Industrial Property of France.

What is “Modus Operandi”?

Modus Operandi (MO), a Latin word, refers to the way you act and act that you master in order to change a situation. It is not a personality trait, a psychological trait, an attitude or a behavior, but your actions. It is like a super-automatic mechanism that you develop between the ages of 0 and 16, and is a combination of many factors:

  • Physical and mental capacity,
  • Personality,
  • Life lessons learned
  • Life experiences have both joy and sadness.
