Raising investor awareness towards upgrading the stock market

Aiming to upgrade the stock market and effectively implement the Vietnam Stock Market Development Strategy to 2030, on July 17, 2025 in Hanoi, Nha Doan Tu Magazine will organize a seminar on "Raising investor awareness towards upgrading the stock market".

In the Resolution on interpellation at the 9th session passed on June 27, 2025, the National Assembly requested the development of capital mobilization channels from the capital market; In 2025, it is necessary to fully prepare the conditions to upgrade the stock market to an emerging market.

Upgrading the stock market is a key task assigned by the Government to the Ministry of Finance . In recent times, under the direction of the Ministry of Finance, the State Securities Commission and related units have actively completed the legal system, upgraded technological infrastructure, and improved market operating conditions to meet the strict criteria of international rating organizations.

Along with efforts to upgrade the stock market, raising investor awareness is also an important task that management agencies are focusing on implementing to sustainably develop the Vietnamese stock market.

In Decision No. 1726/QD-TTg dated December 29, 2023 approving the Strategy for stock market development to 2030, the Government requires developing and diversifying the investor base, improving the quality of investment demand towards sustainable investment demand; improving the quality of individual investors associated with training, popularizing knowledge and propaganda information: Building a comprehensive training strategy for investors, identifying appropriate goals, objects and roadmaps for each development stage of the stock market.

In order to contribute to the effective implementation of the above tasks with state management agencies and market members, on July 17 in Hanoi, Investor Magazine organized a workshop with the theme: "Raising investor awareness towards upgrading the stock market".

The workshop was attended by leaders of central ministries, departments, economic and financial experts, leaders of commercial banks, securities companies, investment funds, international organizations, training institutions, and domestic and foreign investors and businesses.
