Improve qualifications to fulfill the mission of a soldier on the ideological front

On July 17, the Propaganda Department of Soc Trang Provincial Party Committee coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Provincial Literature and Arts Association to organize a discussion with the theme "50 years of Soc Trang literature and arts after the country's reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025)".

The seminar received attention from localities, departments, branches and artists of the Soc Trang Provincial Literature and Arts Association, with 25 presentations.

At the seminar, delegates focused on discussing, analyzing, and clarifying the results of Soc Trang's literary and artistic activities in general and in specific fields such as education, music, culture, folk arts, photography, fine arts, etc. At the same time, they assessed the impact of literature and art on the socio -economic development process and the building of ethical standards and people of Soc Trang.

In addition, delegates also presented opinions and recommendations to continue building and developing literature and art in the new period; proposed to the Party Committee and government on creating a favorable environment for artists to create and contribute, helping the field of literature and art in the province to develop further.

Speaking at the seminar, Ms. Ho Thi Cam Dao, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the People's Council of Soc Trang province, praised the serious working spirit, responsibility, enthusiasm, as well as the contributions of the team of managers and artists of the province to the cause of building and developing Soc Trang literature and art.

In order for the province's literary and artistic activities to develop further, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Soc Trang Provincial Party Committee suggested that Party committees, authorities, the Fatherland Front, and organizations at all levels need to have a deeper awareness of the position, role, and importance of literature and art in the cause of innovation, construction, and protection of the Fatherland in general and Soc Trang province in particular; create all conditions for literature and art to develop, contributing to bringing Soc Trang's literary and artistic activities to new developments.

Ms. Ho Thi Cam Dao hopes that the province's artists will continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, innovation and creativity; constantly research, study, improve their qualifications and vision, stay close to life; continue to contribute and create while upholding civic and social responsibilities to better fulfill their role and mission as soldiers on the ideological and cultural front of the Party.
