Having the opportunity to chat with a female soldier, although she is the "weaker sex", Tran Thi Dieu Nhi is always active, enthusiastic, and responsible in training, so she is appreciated by teachers and staff for quickly absorbing military training and political education content; many times she was chosen as a model for movements and a model team to serve teachers in class.
“During the first year of training, I, as well as the soldiers and teammates, were trained by the Military Command in techniques, tactics, formations, infantry techniques, and political studies… Through that, everyone was aware of their responsibility in maintaining political security and social order and safety,” shared soldier Tran Thi Dieu Nhi, a militia force of Phu Xuan commune.
According to Captain Tran So, Assistant to the Military Command of Phu Vang District, as an instructor of infantry combat tactics, especially AK Submachine Gun shooting technique lesson 1, I actively researched documents, practiced lesson plans, and lectures before starting training. Notably, I integrated drawings of the gun's structure and movements so that students could easily grasp the gun's operating principles.
According to information from the Phu Vang District Military Command, in 2024, the district military agency will proactively develop and strictly implement a training plan for 100% of militia units. The content and training program are directed by the District Military Command to be innovated in the direction of closely combining military training with political and legal education and mass mobilization work. In particular, training for militia officers and soldiers to master infantry combat techniques, proficiently use equipped weapons and support tools; master on-site combat plans and coordinate with the Police and Border Guard forces to patrol, control and handle situations, especially on sea routes and lagoon routes.
Soldier Tran Nhat Tan, a militiaman from Vinh Xuan commune, confided that during the training, he found the most difficult parts of the training to be shooting and throwing grenades. However, thanks to the enthusiastic guidance and instruction from the class officers, he was able to gradually perform the movements accurately, check his aim, and his grenade throwing results became increasingly better.
Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Hong Hiep, Deputy Commander - Chief of Staff of Phu Vang District Military Command, said that in order for soldiers to have a firm grasp of the technical aspects of movements, especially techniques and tactics, the unit has organized for the staff of the District Military Command to directly participate in guiding and assisting. At the same time, the commanders, deputy commanders and platoon leaders who directly train must thoroughly inspect, train, monitor and provide specific and meticulous guidance to each soldier. From there, experience is drawn from each lesson, each content and used as a basis to evaluate the results for the training session to achieve the highest results.
In addition to military training, the militia force also studied Resolutions at all levels; tasks of the armed forces; the Militia Law; peaceful evolution of hostile forces and some contents on mass mobilization work, flood and storm prevention, search and rescue, etc. Thereby, contributing to gradually building a comprehensively strong armed force of Phu Vang district, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new period.
