Russia shot down 38 drones attacking Crimea

The Russian Defense Ministry has not reported any casualties. However, traffic on the bridge connecting the Crimean Peninsula to mainland Russia was halted for several hours before resuming, Crimean officials said on Telegram.

Russian and Ukrainian media quoted residents of the Feodosia region as saying that powerful explosions were heard in the port and oil depot area at around 2 a.m. local time on Sunday.

Ukraine's increasing aerial and naval drone attacks on Russian military targets in Crimea have damaged or destroyed ships and naval repair yards in the port of Sevastopol as well as other targets.

Russia is using its Black Sea fleet to launch long-range attacks on Ukraine. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said his military had succeeded in reducing Russia's military power in the Black Sea.
