The video shows the inside of the armored train and soldiers using military equipment. However, the Russian Defense Ministry did not specify when and where the train was operating.
The armored train is part of the Western Military District of the Russian army. The train is protected by 20mm thick armor and reinforced with sandbags on the inside. It is also equipped with jamming systems to secure communications and prevent the train from being located. The train is usually supported by Ka-52 and Mi-8 helicopters from the air.

According to Sputnik , the main task of the armored train in the Russian-controlled territories of Ukraine is to escort other military trains, transport equipment, soldiers, reconnaissance, as well as mine clearance and track repair. Since the train is equipped with weapons, in addition to the above tasks, Russian soldiers can engage in combat when necessary.
Recently, many armored trains carrying Russian soldiers and military equipment have been recorded moving inside Ukrainian territory. This is considered an effort to increase security for Russia's vital supply routes in Ukraine as President Volodymyr Zelensky's army is preparing for a major counterattack in this area.
On March 10, Defense Express reported that the Russian military is planning to send armored trains equipped with special cars to fight in Ukraine. These cars will be equipped with special weapons to increase the combat power of the armored train, including the modern Pantsir-S1 air defense system. In addition, some tank turrets and engineering vehicles can also be installed on the Russian armored train.
Recently, the Russian military posted a video showing gunners on the Volga armored train using anti-aircraft guns to shoot down a Ukrainian suicide drone (UAV) as it was approaching the train at a distance of about 200-300m.
Previously, in the early stages of the conflict, Moscow did not use armored trains in the fighting areas due to concerns that they could become targets for Ukrainian attacks.
Russia is believed to have a total of four armored trains, including the Volga, Amur, Yenisei, and Baikal. They were built in the early 2000s and upgraded in 2016. According to Defense Express , Russia is urgently producing and improving the trains to support forces in special military operations.
