The Hong Kong International Music Festival is a large-scale international music event in Hong Kong (China), for professional and amateur music students, with diverse competition formats and no age limit.
This is an international cultural exchange program sponsored by the Hong Kong Government . Through various artistic activities, the event has attracted many musical talents, as well as masters from home and abroad to Hong Kong, thereby promoting musical exchanges and contributing to the development of international music culture in the Asian region.

The Hong Kong International Music Festival Vietnam Region 2025 recently took place and attracted 310 contestants from many provinces and cities such as: Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong, Da Nang, Nghe An, Thai Nguyen, Thanh Hoa, Lao Cai, Hai Duong...
In addition, there are many international candidates from the US, UK, China, Singapore, Korea, India, Australia...
Candidates compete in 2 categories: professional and amateur, in many subjects such as: Piano, Violin, Cello, Vocal, Guitar, Traditional musical instruments...
Besides the richness of genres, what makes the Hong Kong International Music Festival Vietnam Region 2025 affirm its position is the professional quality, serious competitive spirit, and thorough investment in both technique and performance style.
Not only a stage to shine, the Hong Kong International Music Festival Vietnam 2025 is also a gathering place for great artists in the world, playing the role of "inspirational" for the contestants.
This year's jury includes: violinist Zhi-Jong Wang (Shanghai Conservatory of Music), pianist Ivan Mishunin (Tchaikovsky Conservatory - Russia), soprano Seung-Hyun Lee and pianist HeeSun Chu (Juilliard Conservatory - USA/Korea).
In addition, the participation of artists such as: Pianist Nguyen Le Thuyen Ha, clarinetist Tran Khanh Quang, guitarist Tran Trung Kien, jazz artist Hoang Phu Tung... also created an artistic space with a strong blend of international and Vietnamese identity.

The organizers said that the contestants participating in the Festival in the Vietnam region this year have made serious and comprehensive investments, not only in performance techniques but also in image and performance style on stage.
"The fact that the contestants proactively researched and selected their entries in accordance with international criteria, as well as invested carefully in both art and stage image, shows that they are gradually approaching global standards, capable of integrating and shining in the international art environment," said pianist Nguyen Le Thuyen Ha, President of the Hong Kong International Music Festival Vietnam region.
The results of the final round of the Hong Kong International Music Festival Vietnam 2025 are as follows: First prize in the Non-professional category belongs to Nguyen Dinh Nguyen, LA4 category - Pop Voice, from Olympia Inter-level School; Second prize belongs to Ou Yang YuFei, A3 category - Violin, from China; Third prize belongs to Dao An Phu, G3 category - Drum Kit, from Hanoi Star Primary and Secondary School.
In the Professional category: First prize went to Ao Jinrui, A3 category - Violin, from Shanghai Conservatory of Music (China); Second prize went to Duong Anh Duc, K9 category - Guitar, from Vietnam National Academy of Music; Third prize went to Nguyen Nhat Minh, K9 category - Guitar, also from Vietnam National Academy of Music.
