Y Nhi missed the top 20 of the Speech competition at Miss World 2025

(Dan Tri) - Despite receiving many compliments from netizens in Vietnam, Miss Huynh Tran Y Nhi still could not make it into the top 20 of the Head To Head Challenge at the Miss World 2025 contest.

On May 23, the Miss World 2025 Organizing Committee announced the list of top 20 in the Debate competition. Accordingly, this list does not include the representative of Vietnam - Y Nhi.

Previously, on May 21, Y Nhi participated in the Debate competition and gave a fluent and confident speech in English. Y Nhi's performance received many compliments from the Vietnamese audience.

During her presentation, Ý Nhi introduced herself as a student in Vietnam and currently studying at a university in Australia. The beauty understands the importance of education and that is the motivation for her and her colleagues to carry out the Heart to Head charity project with the goal of installing community bookcases for students in remote areas of Vietnam.

The Top 20 Debate Competition includes 20 contestants from 4 continents. In particular, the Asia- Pacific region has representatives from Sri Lanka, Thailand, Turkey, Lebanon, Japan. Other regions include: Spain, Wales, France, Germany, Ireland, Brazil, Suriname, Cayman Islands, Guyana, Trinidad & Tobago, South Africa, Namibia, Somalia, Uganda, Zambia.

Twenty outstanding girls of the Debate round will participate in the second round of this competition on May 23. The winner of this competition will have the opportunity to go straight to the top 20 of the Miss World 2025 contest.

Also on May 23, the Miss World 2025 Organizing Committee announced the winner of the Talent competition. That is the representative of Indonesia. With this victory, she has the opportunity to go straight to the top 40 of this year's contest.

As of May 23, two girls have secured their place in the top 40 of Miss World 2025: the representatives of Indonesia (Miss Talent) and Estonia (Miss Sports). In the coming days, the Top Model competition will take place. The winner of this category will also have a chance to go straight to the top 40.

The Miss World 2025 pageant is more than halfway through. The achievement of Vietnam's representative - Ý Nhi - in this year's contest is top 48 in the Miss Talent competition. She was eliminated early in the Miss Sports and Debate competitions.

The Vietnamese representative is receiving attention and support from domestic audiences thanks to her efforts and confidence in the Miss World 2025 contest. Missosology predicts that Ý Nhi has a chance to enter the top 10 of this year's contest.

The final of the Miss World 2025 pageant will take place on May 31. The jury will select the top 40 according to the four continental regions, then continue to decide the top 20, top 8 and top 4. Each continental region will have a winner, then compete for the positions of Miss and 3 runners-up.

Huynh Tran Y Nhi (born 2002) won the crown of Miss World Vietnam 2023. Before becoming Miss World Vietnam 2023, the beauty had won a number of domestic beauty awards.

Y Nhi is 1.75m tall, has a harmonious face and an impressive academic record. She is a student majoring in Business Administration at the International University - Ho Chi Minh City National University.

After being crowned, Ý Nhi chose to withdraw for a long time to study abroad. Earlier this year, the beauty temporarily put her studies abroad on hold and returned to Vietnam to prepare for the Miss World 2025 contest.

Up to now, Lan Khue is the Vietnamese contestant with the highest achievement at the Miss World arena when she entered the top 11 thanks to winning the audience vote and winning the World Fashion Designer Award.

At the Miss World 2024 contest, Vietnam's representative is the beauty Huynh Nguyen Mai Phuong. She stopped at the top 40 to the regret of the audience.
