Compete in Kumite at the tournament.
The tournament is organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the province to encourage and promote the movement of practicing and competing in Karate, contributing to improving health, physical development, and comprehensiveeducation for youth, teenagers, and students in the area, thereby building a healthy cultural lifestyle, limiting negativity among youth and students at all levels. This is also an opportunity for the Karate department of Hai Duong province to select talented athletes to train for the province's high-performance sports, preparing for domestic and international tournaments.
The tournament had 250 male and female athletes from 12 clubs competing in two categories: Kata (forms) and Kumite (sparring). In the Kata category, athletes competed in individual male and female categories in the age groups of 12 to 14, 15 to 17 and 18 years old and above. In the Kumite category, athletes competed in the age groups of 9 to 11, 12 to 14, 15 to 17 and 18 years old and above in weight categories from 35kg to over 60kg.
At the end of the tournament, with 14 Gold medals, 8 Silver medals, 15 Bronze medals, Thanh Ha district won the first prize overall. The second prize overall belonged to Duc Lam - Binh Giang Club with 11 Gold medals, 10 Silver medals and 13 Bronze medals. The third place overall belonged to Hai Duong city with 4 Gold medals, 3 Silver medals and 6 Bronze medals. The Organizing Committee also awarded Gold, Silver and Bronze medals to athletes who performed excellently in individual events.

According to Mr. Le Van Minh, Head of the Karate Department of the Hai Duong Provincial Sports Training, Coaching and Competition Center, Karate was chosen by the province as one of the key high-performance sports. Hai Duong Karate athletes have achieved many achievements in a number of recent tournaments such as: Northern Karate Championship 2025, National Karate Club Championship 2024, 30th National Youth Karate Championship 2024...
Karate is chosen by many teenagers and children in Hai Duong to practice. Currently, in districts, towns and cities of the province, Karate clubs have been established, attracting a large number of people to practice. The province has organized many Karate tournaments from the grassroots to the provincial level to motivate and encourage people to practice to improve their health as well as protect themselves, their families and friends.
