Tourism cooperation signing ceremony between Ninh Thuan and Gia Lai

The ceremony was attended by leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, departments and branches, along with representatives of tourism associations and many travel and service businesses of the two provinces. Here, the two provinces introduced their outstanding strengths in natural resources and typical tourism products.

Accordingly, Ninh Thuan , a coastal province in the South Central Coast, possesses unique and diverse natural beauty. With more than 105 km of coastline in the upwelling area, this place is a paradise for rich seafood species.

Famous landscapes such as Binh Son - Ninh Chu Beach, Ca Na, Binh Tien, Hang Rai, Nui Chua National Park and Phuoc Binh National Park, Vinh Hy Bay have wild and pristine features, promising unforgettable experiences for visitors.

Not only does Ninh Thuan boast majestic landscapes, it is also proud of its long-standing and unique Cham culture. Folk songs, graceful Cham dances, customs and practices preserved through generations, and religious rituals associated with ancient Cham towers such as Po Klong Garai, Po Rome, and Hoa Lai remain intact, telling the story of a brilliant civilization.

The unique Kate Festival, My Nghiep handmade brocade weaving craft and Bau Truc pottery village, the oldest in Southeast Asia, are valuable tangible and intangible cultural heritages, contributing to the unique identity of this land.

Rapidly developing travel services are favorable conditions for connecting tourism between the two localities of Ninh Thuan - Gia Lai.

In recent years, Ninh Thuan tourism has made great strides, becoming a driving economic sector, contributing positively to the province's socio-economic growth. Ninh Thuan aims to welcome 3.6 million visitors by 2025, including 150,000 international visitors, earning revenue of about 4,500 billion VND.

Meanwhile, Gia Lai is proud to own two world natural and cultural heritages recognized by UNESCO: Kon Ha Nung Plateau World Biosphere Reserve and Central Highlands Gong Cultural Space. Along with that, Gia Lai also has long-standing agricultural areas with many typical products, creating a solid foundation for sustainable tourism.

Gia Lai has been shaping four main tourism product groups: eco-tourism, cultural tourism, agricultural tourism and sports tourism. The attraction of Gia Lai is clearly shown through tours to explore the volcanic wonder of Chu Dang Ya, conquer Chu Nam peak - the western roof of the province, or admire the magical beauty of K50 waterfall in Kon Chu Rang Nature Reserve.

Community tours, exploring the gong cultural space with its unique value system also attract a large number of tourists. In particular, agricultural and sports tourism are opening up a lot of room for development for the province's "smokeless industry", associated with the goal of building new rural areas and the tourism trend of returning to original, natural values ​​that is popular globally.

The cooperation agreement between the two Tourism Associations is based on the spirit of voluntariness and equality, aiming at the common goal of maximizing the advantages and unique tourism potential of each province, while attracting necessary resources to promote the comprehensive development of the industry.

According to the signed content, the two sides committed to regularly exchanging information on planning, plans, operations, markets, products and tourism promotion and investment plans. Information on human resources, training and implementation of plans will also be widely shared.

One of the key activities is to coordinate the organization of famtrip and presstrip survey groups to promote, market products and build an attractive tourism image for both Ninh Thuan and Gia Lai.

Annually, the two Associations will agree on a plan to survey new routes and tourist destinations, aiming to build joint tours, diversify experiences for tourists, thereby enhancing the attractiveness of the entire Central Highlands region.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Anh Vu, Chairman of Ninh Thuan Province Tourism Association emphasized: "This cooperation signing event will contribute to diversifying products, increasing tourist attraction to each locality, while promoting sustainable tourism development, bringing practical results to businesses and communities in the two provinces."

Mr. Nguyen Anh Vu also expressed his hope that the two Associations will regularly exchange and learn from experience in promoting and coordinating participation in seminars, fairs, exhibitions, and major tourism events at home and abroad.

In particular, Associations need to encourage member businesses to actively participate in tourism stimulus programs, commit to having a mechanism to prioritize the use of services, provide incentives, and provide discounts for partners who are member businesses of your Association.

On this occasion, Ninh Thuan Tourism Association and Gia Lai Tourism Association presented meaningful souvenirs, marking a good start for the promising journey of tourism development cooperation between the two localities.
