Every day, the system of Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development ( BIDV ) Dak Nong Branch welcomes hundreds of customers to transact at its headquarters. At the end of the year, the number of customers transacting at the counter increases sharply.
The main transactions of customers are deposits, cash withdrawals, payment transfers, salary payments, and state budget payments. According to Mr. Pham Quoc Viet, Deputy Director of BIDV Dak Nong, the branch strengthens communication and warns about criminal methods and tricks.
BIDV also promotes customer guidance on measures to secure personal data and avoid the risk of personal information disclosure when conducting online transactions.
BIDV has strengthened guidance for customers to use electronic payment channels to proactively make transactions. The unit has also thoroughly implemented plans for ATM operations suitable for each locality, closely monitored ATM operations, and timely replenishment of funds.
“The branch has assigned more staff to guide, handle and promptly respond to incidents and situations that arise. All are aimed at not affecting customers' payment and withdrawal transactions,” said Mr. Viet.

Vietinbank has proactively extended transaction hours and promoted interbank transactions to ensure smooth transactions for customers.
In addition to regular transaction days, from November 2024, Vietinbank Dak Nong will arrange human resources and equipment to support customers in performing biometric installation.

The State Bank of Vietnam, Dak Nong Branch, has just issued a document requesting related affiliated units and credit institutions to deploy a number of measures to ensure payment activities at the end of 2024 and Lunar New Year 2025.
The State Bank will strengthen management, inspection and supervision of payment acceptance units. Any act of taking advantage of payment transactions at payment acceptance units for illegal purposes will also be strictly handled.

At the end of the year, the company promoted transaction activities, payment of goods, debt payment, salary payment, payment to the State budget... through Vietinbank Dak Nong.
“Thanks to the bank applying digital transformation and software, business transactions take place safely and smoothly, without causing interruption to production and business processes,” Mr. Tung assessed.
By the end of 2024, Dak Nong will have 94 ATMs and 414 POS machines in operation . The number of QR codes installed at production and business locations is estimated at 50,804 . The number of cards issued at active credit institutions is estimated at 533,518 . The whole province has 641,363 bank payment accounts .
