This is the first time the GTPP payment platform has been launched by Visa in the Vietnamese market and Shinhan Bank is also the first foreign bank in Vietnam to support the GTPP platform.
With the GTPP global payment platform, Vietnamese enterprises, especially small and medium-sized import industries, optimize working capital, increase security and expand international trade opportunities. In the context of Vietnam being the third largest export market of Korea, GTPP is considered an important step to convert from traditional transactions to card payments.
Accordingly, businesses can make direct payments to Korean partners using Shinhan Visa corporate cards via the GTPP platform, making international transactions more convenient, faster and safer. In addition, cardholders also enjoy many outstanding incentives, including flexible credit limits, interest-free periods of up to 45 days, unlimited 0.1% bonus points accumulation program on all transactions, and the privilege of receiving 1 Fast Track and 1 golf course when reaching enough card spending. Thanks to that, businesses can optimize financial costs, while increasing the value and efficiency of card use in business operations.
When documents and invoices are provided directly on the GTPP platform, the entire transaction process becomes transparent, minimizing the risk of errors or fraud in document processing. At the same time, automating the confirmation and payment steps helps shorten transaction times and optimize cash flow. With the ability to connect a variety of global banks and partners, GTPP also supports businesses to expand their international payment network and centrally manage cross-border transactions.
