Vietnamese Cultural Day in the Russian Federation

On July 1, a working delegation led by Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung arrived in Moscow (Russian Federation) to launch a series of events "Vietnamese Cultural Days in the Russian Federation in 2024".

This is an important activity to strengthen the cultural cooperation between the two countries, while introducing and promoting the unique beauty of Vietnamese culture to international friends. As planned, the opening ceremony of the event will be held at 7:00 p.m. on July 2, local time, with many special programs. The highlight of the event is the performances of more than 50 Vietnamese artists. This is an opportunity for Russian audiences to enjoy traditional and modern art performances of Vietnam. In addition, the photo exhibition area will give visitors a comprehensive view of the country and people of Vietnam.

The exhibition includes typical works of art, from landscape paintings, daily life to photos capturing memorable moments in the daily lives of Vietnamese people. In addition to the main activities, the event will also be extended with programs showing special films of Vietnamese cinema from July 3 to 5 at the Illusion and Museum cinemas in Moscow and Saint Petersburg.

The series of events “Vietnam Cultural Day in the Russian Federation” not only contributes to promoting cultural exchange between the two countries, but is also an opportunity for the Vietnamese community in Russia to feel and be proud of the cultural identity of their homeland; contributing to fostering the traditional friendship between Vietnam and the Russian Federation to become increasingly stronger and develop more strongly.
