On the afternoon of June 13, Mr. Nguyen Trong Hoan, Chief of Office of the Departmentof Education and Training (GD&DT) of Nghe An province, said that the unit had announced the results of the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year for candidates in the province.
This year's entrance exam is the first year that Nghe An province has implemented the 2018 General Education Program, with a new exam structure, increasing practicality and application, closely following the direction of the Ministry of Education and Training .

Nguyen Phuong Ha Na, a student at Nguyen Truong To Secondary School, Vinh City, who took the entrance exam to Huynh Thuc Khang High School, said that her total score for the three subjects was more than 24 points.
“I was very surprised to see that my score was so high. I think the essay topic was related to real life, so I wrote with real emotions. I practiced a lot in math so I did the basics well, but I still got a good score,” Nguyen Phuong Ha Na shared.
A representative of the Department of Education and Training said that after announcing the exam scores, it is expected that in the next few days, the sector will continue to announce the admission scores for public high schools across the province.
Preliminary assessments from some secondary schools in Vinh city, Dien Chau, Yen Thanh... show that this year's exam questions are highly differentiated, especially in math and literature.
This is a new point when the exam is applied for the first time according to the 2018 General Education Program, focusing on assessing students' capacity and ability to apply practical knowledge.
Many teachers commented that the number of excellent scores was not as high as in previous years, while the number of candidates achieving average and good scores accounted for a large proportion.
