Nghe An: Providing information and improving capacity for the team of prestigious people

In order to promote the role and position of prestigious people in the community, the Ethnic Committee of Nghe An province has advised the Provincial People's Committee to organize training conferences, provide information, and enhance capacity; so that each prestigious person is an extension of the Party's policies and the State's laws to each citizen. As the implementing unit, the Provincial Ethnic Committee opened 8 classes, each with 80 people, to provide information and disseminate knowledge to prestigious people among ethnic minorities. The information provided to prestigious people includes topics on the results of ethnic work in Nghe An province in the period of 2019-2024, directions and tasks in the following years; Dissemination of the law on implementing grassroots democracy; insurance policies, etc.

The Provincial Ethnic Committee invited lecturers and reporters from a number of relevant departments and branches to participate in training courses for Prestigious People.

Along with that, the Provincial Ethnic Committee has organized delegations of prestigious people to exchange and share experiences inside and outside the province. Accordingly, in the past year, there was 1 delegation with 57 typical prestigious people to exchange and learn experiences outside the province; 2 delegations went to exchange and learn experiences within the province in the districts of Tuong Duong, Con Cuong, Que Phong, Quy Hop.

Along with implementing other Projects, the implementation of information provision and capacity building for the team of Prestigious People has contributed to achieving the highest efficiency in ethnic work and ethnic policies.

Thanks to the team of prestigious people in the villages, the policies of the Party and State are propagated more widely and effectively to each person; so that people have more trust in the leadership and management of the Party and State.
