Due to the impact of storm No. 3, from the night of July 21 to noon of July 22, in the communes of Que Phong, Thong Thu, Tien Phong, Tri Le, Muong Quang, there continued to be rain, prolonged heavy rain accompanied by wind, so some streams, rivers, and lakes continued to rise. Some overflow points in Thai Phong block (Que Phong commune), Tan Thai - Pieng Luong village (Tri Le commune) were flooded, people could not cross.

Mr. Nguyen Ba Hien - Vice Chairman of Que Phong Commune People's Committee said: Due to the impact of storm No. 3, to ensure the safety of people during the flood season, the local government has set up barriers, hung up danger warning signs, and assigned 100% of staff to be on duty at the overflow bridges and flooded roads and deployed the "4 on-site" work. At the same time, propagandized people not to go to rivers and streams to collect firewood, fish... not to arbitrarily cross the overflow bridges and flooded roads, to prevent possible accidents.

Some points on National Highway 16 through Pa Khom village (Tri Le commune) have cracks on the road. In addition, Nam Nhong Kindergarten (Tri Le commune) and houses are also showing signs of dangerous subsidence.

To avoid human and property damage, previously, the communes of Que Phong, Tien Phong, Thong Thu, Tri Le, and Muong Quang held urgent meetings to direct the review of plans, prepare forces and means to support people in responding to storms, floods, and rescue; be ready to arrange forces to guard and control people and vehicles crossing spillways, deeply flooded areas, areas with fast-flowing water, landslides or areas at risk of landslides, resolutely not allowing people and vehicles to pass if safety is not ensured, not allowing unfortunate human damage due to carelessness and subjectivity; arrange forces, materials, and means to overcome incidents, ensuring smooth traffic on main traffic routes when heavy rain occurs./.
