Timely rescue of 17 people from flooded areas in Dong Nai

Heavy rain on the night of September 21 and morning of September 22 caused flooding, isolating many households in Thien Hung commune (Dong Nai), of which 4 households with 17 people in group 5, hamlet 6 were surrounded by floodwaters.

Officers and soldiers of Thien Hung Commune Military Command carried Ms. Nguyen Thi Bach Tuyet, born in 1950, who had a stroke, to a safe place.

Immediately upon receiving the news, officers and soldiers of the Defense Command of Region 3 - Dong Xoai, the Military Command of Dong Nai province and the Military Command of Thien Hung commune quickly deployed forces, coordinated with functional units to approach the scene, and urgently evacuated people to a safe place.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Bach Tuyet's son was taken to safety by officers and soldiers of the Thien Hung Commune Military Command.

Lieutenant Colonel Huynh Tan Luc, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of the Defense Command of Region 3 - Dong Xoai, said that thanks to the timely and decisive actions, by noon on September 22, all 17 people had been safely rescued. In particular, Ms. Ho Thi Bach Tuyet (born in 1950) and her son, both of whom suffered a stroke and could not walk, were directly carried by officers of the Commune Military Command and taken to a safe shelter.

Officers and soldiers of Thien Hung Commune Military Command moved people's property to a safe place.

Thien Hung Commune Military Command continues to maintain on-duty forces, coordinate with local authorities to ensure the safety of people's lives and property, and be ready to respond to complicated flood developments.
