* On the afternoon of December 26, the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies Bloc held a conference to review the Party building work in 2023 and deploy tasks for 2024. Attending and speaking at the conference, comrade Nguyen Van Thong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee suggested that in 2024, the Provincial Agencies Bloc Party Committee should focus on leading the improvement of public ethics for cadres and civil servants; promote administrative reform associated with digital transformation.

* On the morning of December 26, the Provincial People's Committee held a conference to review national defense and security work in 2023 and deploy tasks for 2024. On this occasion, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province awarded Certificates of Merit to 11 collectives and 11 individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing national defense and security work in 2023.

* On the morning of December 26, the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province had a working session with a number of units in the finance and banking sector according to the plan to monitor the implementation of Resolution No. 43 dated January 11, 2022 of the National Assembly on fiscal and monetary policies to support the socio -economic recovery and development program and the implementation of the National Assembly's Resolutions on a number of important national projects until the end of 2023.

* On the morning of December 26, the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs held a national online conference to deploy tasks for labor, meritorious people and society in 2024. At the conference, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha directed all levels and sectors to promptly develop an action program to continue innovating and improving the quality of social policies.

* On the morning of December 26, at Le Loi Primary School (Vinh City), the Department of Education and Training organized an exchange on traffic safety skills education for primary school level for the 2023-2024 school year. Participating in the exchange were 210 students (representing more than 350,000 primary school students) and 21 teachers (representing more than 15,000 primary school teachers) from primary schools from 21 districts and cities in Nghe An province.

* Nghe An province has provided more than 25,000 liters of chemicals to localities to prevent African swine fever. At the same time, districts and communes in Nghe An have allocated funds to buy lime powder and other items to prevent African swine fever more effectively.
