Nghe An honors 195 students with outstanding achievements in 2025

On the evening of August 28, the People's Committee of Nghe An province held a ceremony to honor 195 students who won international and national prizes and students who achieved high scores in the 2025 High School Graduation Exam.

This is an opportunity to recognize the efforts of the education sector, express gratitude for the silent contributions of teachers, and honor the intelligence, courage and aspirations of Nghe An students.

Over the years, Nghe An students have always been honored in major national, regional and international competitions and playgrounds; and have always been rated as the top students in the country in terms of high achievements in general education.

Notably, in the 2024-2025 school year, for the first time, Nghe An students won 7 Gold and Silver Medals at regional and international Olympic competitions; leading 34 provinces and cities in the results of the 2025 High School Graduation Exam.

Among those students with high achievements, there are many examples of students from remote areas, ethnic minority students, and children of families with especially difficult circumstances. They are truly determined to overcome difficulties, become good children, good students and are honored today.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Hong Vinh, Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee, praised the efforts and warmly congratulated the outstanding achievements of students, teachers, educational managers and schools in the past school year.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee said that to achieve these outstanding achievements, we must acknowledge and appreciate the great contributions of schools, teachers who are dedicated, devoted, enthusiastic, creative and innovative in teaching methods to train and guide students to reach the heights of knowledge, participate and achieve high results in exams.

At the same time, the innovations and creativity in management, direction, training and teaching of the provincial education sector; the attention and direction of Party committees and authorities at all levels; the timely care, encouragement and motivation of parents contributed to improving the academic achievements of students in recent exams.

The achievements of the students today continue to affirm the stature of Nghe An youth, Vietnamese youth shining in the international arena; at the same time, making an important contribution to the overall achievements of the education sector in particular and the socio-economic development achievements of Nghe An province in general.

Through this program, Provincial Chairman Le Hong Vinh hopes to continue to inspire the spirit of studiousness, encourage the emulation movement of studying and training; and add motivation for generations of Nghe An students to strive to rise up, continuing the arduous but extremely glorious journey of acquiring knowledge ahead.

In the coming time, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Hong Vinh requested the education sector, education managers, teachers to continue to innovate and improve the quality of comprehensive education, focusing on developing key education, creative startups, and meeting the increasingly high demands in the new period.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested Party committees at all levels, authorities, organizations and the whole society to continue to pay more attention and care for the cause of education and training; promote and expand many effective learning movements in accordance with the spirit that education and training is the top national policy, the cause of the Party, the State and the entire people, investment in education is investment for development.

At the ceremony, provincial leaders and the Education sector awarded Certificates of Merit and prizes to 195 students who won international and national prizes and achieved high scores in the 2025 High School Graduation Exam with a total value of more than 3.5 billion VND.
