Artists happily celebrate Vietnam Theatre Traditional Day

(NLDO) - On the occasion of Vietnam Theatre Day and also the Theatre Ancestor's Death Anniversary (August 12th of the lunar calendar), many art units organized incense offerings to commemorate the ancestors who built the national theatre.

Artists offer incense on the anniversary of the Vietnamese Theatre's founders

On the morning of September 7 (August 12 of the lunar calendar), a series of stages in Ho Chi Minh City simultaneously held the Death Anniversary of the Theatre, such as: Ho Chi Minh City Hat Boi Art Theater, Trinh Kim Chi Stage, Hoang Thai Thanh Stage, IDECAF Stage, Tran Huu Trang Theater... A large number of artists, dancers, bands, and stage workers from the units gathered to offer incense and respectfully pray for a year of "smooth sailing" so that the stage can be lit up smoothly and serve the public.

The HCM City Theatre Association Artists' Association is the place to organize the early incense offering ceremony at the Ancestral Altar located at the Theatre Traditional House (133 Co Bac, District 1, HCM City). Every year, on this occasion, hundreds of artists come to offer incense to commemorate the ancestors who built the national theatre.

Previously, on the morning of September 6, the Ho Chi Minh City Theater Association solemnly organized the Ancestor's Death Anniversary with rituals including incense offering, flower offering, opening ceremony, welcoming the ancestors and the souls of the predecessors who had contributed to the development of the traditional art of the country's theater. In addition, generations of artists expressed their deep gratitude and shared the wish to join hands and unite to build the theater industry to develop and progress more and more.
