Meritorious Artist Tan Nhan unexpectedly becomes General Director of a special program

Accordingly, October Emotions organized by the Vocal Department, Vietnam National Academy of Music will take place at 8:00 p.m. on October 4 at the Vietnam National Academy of Music Concert Hall, 77 Hao Nam, Hanoi.

The program is directed by Dr. People's Artist Quoc Hung as Artistic Director; Dr. Meritorious Artist Tan Nhan as General Director; Musician Son Thach as Music Director; Pham Hoang Giang as Stage Director; Singer Bich Hong as Production Director.

Participating in the performance are many artists from generations of the Vietnam National Academy of Music such as: People's Artist Quang Tho, People's Artist Quoc Hung, Meritorious Artist Lan Anh, Meritorious Artist Tan Nhan, Meritorious Artist Phuong Nga, Meritorious Artist Phuong Uyen, singers Anh Tho, Quang Ha, Tuan Anh, Phuc Tiep, Le Anh Dung, Nguyen Vu, Dao To Loan, Bich Hong, Huong Ly, Huong Diep, Khanh Ly, Manh Hoach, Quang Tu, Ngoc Dinh, Rapper Mezzo, pianists Bui Dang Khanh - Trinh Minh Trang, MC Le Anh and My Lan. In this year's program, a number of students who won prizes in international music competitions will also perform with their teachers.

In the role of General Director of the program, Meritorious Artist Tan Nhan said: "This year, the program will see more clearly the continuity, not only the young lecturers of the faculty stand on the same stage with the teachers, but on the October Emotions stage, the students who are excellent students in the school, who have won domestic and international awards will also participate in the performance, including Huyen Trang - Special Prize of Kyushu Music Concours Competition 2023 in Japan, Second Prize of Young Voice Thanh Am Hanoi 2023; or Pham Thuy Linh - Excellent Prize of Kyushu Music Competition in the student category... The program will make the students feel proud of the tradition of the Faculty and the School when they see their teachers performing on stage. The teachers are both shining examples for them to follow and a motivation for them to try harder".

Meritorious Artist Tan Nhan as General Director

According to Meritorious Artist Tan Nhan, the main goal of the program is not to sell tickets, although at this time the tickets are almost sold out. And the program will have many different musical colors such as chamber music, folk music, pop music, etc. Meritorious Artist Lan Anh, singer Le Anh Dung, Phuc Tiep... will perform songs that are completely different from the usual music genres they usually sing.

Chamber singer Phuc Tiep will sing "Send to the Southern sister" by Doan Chuan - Tu Linh; chamber singer Huong Ly will sing " Xam Ha Noi" with strong folk elements; tenor Manh Hoach, who specializes in singing world classic operas, will perform "Ha Noi in the season of fallen leaves" (artist Hoang Nhat Minh) gently, romantically with many difficult passages...

"We will dedicate to the audience a colorful art program. Because we understand each other very well, when starting the program, everyone will do their own work, there will be no difficulty. The October Emotions program is divided into 4 chapters, with different themes and musical spaces. The first chapter Thang Long - Hanoi is classical chamber music, heroic songs that have accompanied the years about Hanoi such as: Hanoi People (musician Nguyen Dinh Thi), Hanoi Song (musician Vu Thanh), Hanoi Faith and Hope (musician Phan Nhan)... These are songs written by famous musicians who have experienced the war, recreating the heroic and resilient Hanoi.

Chapter 2 is Hanoi of old days , chapter 3 is Hanoi of seasons of memories and chapter 4 Songs of Hanoi people will take the audience to a Hanoi with the beauty of the seasons, the beauty of Hanoi, the beauty of Hanoi people.

The program gathers most of the famous works written about Hanoi, highlighting a heroic, romantic, and charming image of Hanoi, whether in memory or in the present. Accordingly, coming to the program October Emotions, the audience You will enjoy classic pop songs about Hanoi such as: Hanoi at night, the wind turns (Mr. Trong Dai), Remembering Hanoi (Mr. Hoang Hiep), Wandering in the winter afternoon of Hanoi (Mr. Phu Quang), Hanoi 12 seasons of flowers (Mr. Giang Son), Hanoi in the season of fallen leaves (Mr. Hoang Nhat Minh), Xam Hanoi (Nguyen Quang Long), Hanoi on old days (Song Ngoc)...
