On the morning of November 16, informing VTC News reporters, the leader of the People's Committee of Du Le commune (Kien Thuy, Hai Phong ) said that the authorities are verifying and investigating the explosion that injured one person.
The victim was injured after the explosion, received first aid and was transferred to a higher level hospital for emergency treatment.
According to the report of Du Le Commune People's Committee, at about 7:45 p.m. on November 15, after receiving information from the people, a fire and explosion broke out at the home of Mr. Dao Van Cuong (born in 1991, residing in village 1, Du Le commune, Kien Thuy district).
Immediately after receiving the information, Du Le Commune People's Committee directed Du Le Commune Police to deploy forces to the location where people reported the news.
Afterwards, the Commune Police coordinated with the people to extinguish the fire and protect the scene, promptly reporting the incident to the District People's Committee according to regulations.
The house had an explosion.
Through initial verification provided by the family, the cause of the above incident was a gas explosion, causing Mr. Cuong to be burned and was taken to Kien An Hospital for first aid by his family, then transferred to the National Burn Hospital.
After collecting information, the Commune Police coordinated with the Criminal Police Department of Kien Thuy District Police to examine the scene.
Through examination, it was discovered that there was a round cylindrical metal tube, painted red on the outside, one end was left open with a diameter of 11 cm, the other end was sealed (the bottom) with a diameter of 15 cm, the tube was 55 cm high; 5 white plastic bags, sealed, each plastic bag contained 2 brown objects. These objects all had the same characteristics, shape and size.
Specifically, the object has a spherical end with a diameter of 9 cm, a funnel-shaped end, the bottom of the funnel has a diameter of 4 cm, the outside has blue and red wires attached, the core of the wires above is green (suspected to be firecrackers). The total weight of the 10 objects above is 4.5 kg, the police agency has drawn up a record to seal and temporarily detain the objects and documents according to regulations.
According to the leader of Du Le commune, the patient's family said that up to now, the patient is being given emergency treatment, but the patient's health is a bit poor.
Currently, the police have begun investigating the cause of the explosion.
