On April 7, the Con Dao National Monuments Conservation Center issued a document announcing the adjustment of visiting, incense offering and memorial service hours at Hang Duong Cemetery. Accordingly, the opening hours in the morning are from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and in the afternoon from 1:30 p.m. to midnight. Implementation time is from April 15, 2023.
Hang Duong Cemetery (Con Dao district) will be open 24 hours a day from April 15. |
Previously, the cemetery was open to visitors for 24 hours. However, from February 27, 2022, to prevent the COVID-19 epidemic, the opening hours of Hang Duong Cemetery have been adjusted, only serving from 7am to 9pm daily.
This time adjustment is to better serve the needs of people and tourists to visit, burn incense, and commemorate, especially on the upcoming April 30 and May 1 holidays.
To effectively preserve and promote the value of historical relics, the Con Dao National Monuments Conservation Center recommends that people and tourists strictly follow the rules for visiting relics, ensure security and order, and protect the environment by not using plastic bags, disposable plastic bottles, foam for flower arrangements, or burning votive paper at the relics.
