Foreign players bring Viettel into the National Cup semi-finals

Hanoi Viettel thought they were in trouble when Mohammed Essameldin was injured, but Jeferson Elias came in as a substitute and shone with a goal and an assist to help the team defeat Nam Dinh 2-0 in the quarter-finals of the National Cup on the evening of July 11.

In the 73rd minute, Elias shone again, this time in the role of assist, with a pass that went past all of Nam Dinh's defenders and goalkeeper, allowing Nham Manh Dung to easily tap the ball into an empty net to seal the score at 2-0.
