Sharing with VietNamNet reporter, Mr. Luu Van Thong, Principal of Cau Giay Secondary School, said that right after the Natural Science High School announced the standard scores for grade 10 admission last night, the school counted 90 grade 9 students with 96 passing the entrance exam to this school, including 23 students majoring in Math, 28 students majoring in Physics, 11 students majoring in Information Technology, 22 students majoring in Chemistry and 12 students majoring in Biology.
Among these, many students were admitted to both specialized classes such as Nguyen Dai Nhat Minh (class 9A1) who passed the Chemistry and IT exams; Nguyen Quang Anh (class 9A4) who passed the Math and Chemistry exams; Le Anh Minh (9A11) who passed the Math and Physics exams; Vu Gia Loc (class 9A5), Nguyen Viet Bach (class 9A2), Nguyen Anh Duy (9A6) who passed the Physics and IT exams...
“The special thing about this year’s students is that they had a hard time entering school during the Covid-19 pandemic, most of them had to study online. This is also the first group of students to take the exam according to the 2018 GeneralEducation Program. However, they all tried very hard. These achievements are a testament to the tireless efforts of teachers and students over the years,” said Mr. Thong.
According to Mr. Thong, in the past, the school has always agreed on educational goals for students to develop comprehensively according to the roadmap. This starts from grade 6. Teachers will screen and find the strengths of each student, from there have early and appropriate orientation.
“The school has clubs for each subject to nurture students’ knowledge and promote their passion for that subject. In addition, teachers also have sessions to share about the path to conquering specialized schools, thereby nurturing students’ dreams of entering those schools,” Mr. Thong shared.
