With a spirit of community service, Mr. Tung has always been enthusiastic in the voluntary blood donation movement for many years. Starting to donate blood in 2016, when he was still a student actively participating in the Youth Union, Mr. Tung soon realized the profound humanitarian meaning of donating blood to save lives.
From the first time he donated blood, he was a little nervous, but now, donating blood has become almost normal for Mr. Tung. Every year, Mr. Tung regularly donates blood 2 to 3 times, with the belief that "Every drop of blood given - A life remains". With 24 blood donations, Mr. Tung is not only a testament to his perseverance, but also demonstrates the kindness of a young teacher.

According to Mr. Tung, donating blood is not simply giving away a part of your blood, but giving hope, sharing humanity with patients who need blood transfusions to fight for their lives. The valuable thing is that in addition to donating blood directly, Mr. Tung also actively promotes and mobilizes colleagues, friends and relatives to participate in the voluntary blood donation movement. It is Mr. Tung's exemplary role that has contributed to strongly spreading the spirit of volunteerism in the community, especially in theeducational environment where he is working.
“I find blood donation a noble act, showing solidarity with those who are unfortunate enough to need blood transfusions. When my health allows, I will continue to donate blood, because donating blood does not affect my health, but also helps the body regenerate new blood.
After each blood donation, I feel happy because I have contributed a small part to help patients overcome critical conditions," Mr. Tung shared.
Not only is he enthusiastic about the voluntary blood donation movement, Mr. Tung is also an exemplary member of the Youth Union, regularly participating in social and charitable activities for the community. In recent years, his family has also received and supported summer volunteer students from Tien Giang University to live and carry out activities in the locality.
Mr. Tung's enthusiasm and compassion for everyone have positively inspired people and students about a humane and socially responsible lifestyle.
In recognition of Mr. Tung's tireless contributions to the voluntary blood donation movement, for many consecutive years, he has been commended and rewarded by authorities at all levels and the local Voluntary Blood Donation Steering Committee. In particular, in 2025, Mr. Tung was honored to receive a Certificate of Merit from the Provincial People's Committee for his outstanding achievements in the voluntary blood donation movement.
