Gia Lai has 2 farmers awarded the title "Outstanding Vietnamese Farmers" in 2025

(GLO)- According to information from the Gia Lai Provincial Farmers' Association, the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Association has decided to award the title of "Outstanding Vietnamese Farmer" in 2025 to 63 outstanding farmers from 34 provinces and cities across the country. Among them, Gia Lai province has 2 representatives.

The two individuals honored are Ms. Tran Thi Duyen (born in 1966, in Hoai Nhon Dong ward) and Mr. Nguyen Nam Phong (born in 1991, in An Phu ward).

Ms. Tran Thi Duyen works in fish sauce processing, with an annual profit of 900 million VND to 1.2 billion VND in the period 2022-2024. Not only is she good at economics , she also creates stable jobs for about 35 local workers.

Meanwhile, Mr. Nguyen Nam Phong specializes in producing and trading vegetables and fruits that meet VietGAP standards, with revenue reaching 19 billion VND and profit of about 2.9 billion VND per year.

The achievements of these two farmers not only demonstrate the spirit of creative work and legitimate enrichment from agriculture , but also contribute to promoting economic development, creating jobs and spreading effective production models in the locality.
