Ms. Tran Thi Bich Huong has been appointed as the Chairperson of the Trade Union of Ayun Pa Ward.

(GLO) - On the morning of October 31, the Trade Union of Ayun Pa Ward (Gia Lai Province) successfully held its first Congress for the 2025-2030 term. Ms. Tran Thi Bich Huong was appointed as the Chairwoman of the Ward's Trade Union.

Attending the Ayun Pa Ward Trade Union Congress were Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy, Vice President of the Gia Lai Provincial Federation of Labor, along with 100 delegates representing union members and workers in the area.

The Ayun Pa Ward Trade Union currently manages 1,849 members belonging to 53 grassroots trade unions and labor unions in Ayun Pa Ward and neighboring communes such as Ia Sao, Chu Se, Chu Puh, Ia Le, Ia Hru, Phu Thien, Chu A Thai, Phu Tuc, and Ia Pa; it is also responsible for monitoring membership development and establishing grassroots trade unions in 10 communes: Ia Rbol, Bo Ngoong, Ia Ko, Al Ba, Ia Dreh, Ia Rsai, Uar, Ia Hiao, Po To, and Ia Tul.

Immediately after its establishment, the Executive Committee of the Ayun Pa Ward Trade Union proactively developed its working regulations; mobilized union members and workers to actively participate in emulation movements launched by higher levels and localities, contributing to building cultural life at the grassroots level; and at the same time strengthened its efforts to better identify goals, tasks, and solutions to effectively promote the role of the Trade Union organization for its members and workers in the present and the next phase.

For the 2025-2030 term, the Ayun Pa Ward Trade Union strives to achieve the following targets: 100% of non-state enterprises with 20 or more employees will establish a trade union; at least 85% of enterprises and units with trade union organizations that meet the legal requirements will have their collective labor agreements negotiated and signed by the trade union; and at least 60% of collective labor agreements signed or participated in by the trade union will be rated B or higher in quality.

The Congress announced the decision to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Inspection Committee, and key positions of the Ayun Pa Ward Trade Union, term I, 2025-2030. Ms. Tran Thi Bich Huong, Deputy Head of the Culture and Social Affairs Department of Ayun Pa Ward, was appointed as the Chairperson of the Ward Trade Union for the term 2025-2030.
