Gia Lai mobilizes the entire political system at the grassroots level to implement the 'Quang Trung Campaign'.

(Chinhphu.vn) - With very little time remaining and a huge workload still to be done, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Gia Lai province requested the entire political system to focus intensely on implementing the "Quang Trung Campaign," not only with political responsibility but also with "commands from the heart," from affection for the people.

The armed forces of Gia Lai province are determined to complete the task of helping people rebuild their homes after the floods.

The People's Committee of Gia Lai province has issued a document on focusing and decisively implementing the "Quang Trung Campaign" to build and repair houses for people affected by storms and floods.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Directors of departments and agencies, and the Secretaries and Chairmen of the People's Committees of communes and wards to thoroughly understand the spirit of the Prime Minister 's directive: This is a "Campaign without gunfire," but it must be organized with the highest determination to complete the progress milestones on schedule (completing all house repairs before December 31, 2025, and completing new house construction before January 31, 2026).

Specifically, it requires the Party Secretary and the Chairman of the People's Committee at the commune level to focus on comprehensive leadership and direction; to mobilize the entire political system at the grassroots level to organize the construction, repair, and completion of housing for the people, ensuring the requirements of "speed, safety, and quality." They must proactively monitor the situation and promptly address any arising problems (land, site, manpower, materials, etc.).

The Party Secretary of the commune/ward assigns specific members of the Standing Committee to be in charge of each village and group of households to monitor and supervise daily, and directly resolve difficulties and obstacles during the implementation process, preventing prolonged delays.

For communes and wards that are still lagging behind or have a very large workload, such as Sró, Phù Mỹ Đông, Phú Thiện, Quy Nhơn, Hoài Ân, Vân Canh, Ia Pa, etc., the Provincial People's Committee leaders requested the Party Secretaries and Chairmen of the People's Committees of these communes and wards to go directly to the site to direct and supervise each village and group of households; at the same time, they must immediately mobilize and arrange support forces and organize construction with a "lightning speed" spirit. Any locality that does not show significant progress within the week will have its head held accountable.

The Provincial People's Committee also assigned the Provincial Military Command and the Provincial Police Department to continue mobilizing maximum forces and resources to directly support localities in the construction, repair, and completion of housing; focusing on prioritizing communes and wards that are lagging behind or have a large volume of work remaining. The Department of Agriculture and Environment will take the lead in closely monitoring the progress throughout the province, proactively guiding localities to promptly handle difficulties, especially regarding land and resettlement.

The Provincial People's Committee also requested the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and political and social organizations to continue mobilizing organizations, individuals, and philanthropists to support the people in overcoming the consequences of storms and floods; and to mobilize members, especially the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, to play a pioneering and active role in the "Quang Trung Campaign," supporting the people in rebuilding and repairing their houses.

Previously, in implementing Prime Minister's Directive No. 232/CĐ-TTg dated November 27, 2025, on launching and deploying the "Quang Trung Campaign," the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee issued a plan to mobilize the entire political system, effectively combining state resources with socialized resources to urgently rebuild 674 houses that were completely destroyed or swept away, and repair houses that were severely damaged (50% or more); ensuring that all households affected by Typhoon No. 13 (Kalmaegi) and the floods from November 16-20, 2025, have safe housing.

Simultaneously, the plan includes the construction of 16 resettlement projects/plans to relocate and resettle residents in hazardous areas, ensuring long-term safety, stable production, and livelihoods, to be completed before January 31, 2026.

The Provincial People's Committee requested that localities implement the "Quang Trung Campaign" ensuring that support reaches the right beneficiaries, absolutely preventing any loss or exploitation of the policy, duplicate support, or omission of any affected households. The process must be transparent and open, with supervision from the Fatherland Front, mass organizations, and the community; priority should be given to supporting poor households, near-poor households, policy beneficiary families, and vulnerable groups.
