Lieutenant Colonel Tuan was honored to receive a certificate of merit from the Hue City Border Guard Command and proposed the Border Guard Command to award a certificate of merit in the summary of 10 years of implementing Directive No. 05-CT/TW dated May 15, 2016 of the Politburo on promoting studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle.

For the people of Hong Thuong commune, Lieutenant Colonel Tuan (Pa Co ethnic group) is a son of the village, sharing the same worries and joys with the people. Ms. Ho Thi Thao, Head of Can Tom village, said: Over the years, Lieutenant Colonel Tuan's footsteps have left their mark throughout the villages and hamlets to be close to, listen to, and understand the difficulties, shortages, aspirations, and wishes of the people. Lieutenant Colonel Tuan pays special attention to poor, near-poor, and extremely disadvantaged households, thereby providing practical advice and proposals, contributing to the locality's effective implementation of the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses; deploying appropriate and effective economic development models...

“Over the past years, Lieutenant Colonel Le Anh Tuan, together with comrades in the Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Hong Thuong commune, has been highly united and unified, successfully fulfilling the local political tasks, developing the socio-economy, sustainably reducing poverty, maintaining and consolidating national defense and security, managing and protecting national border security and sovereignty,” shared Lieutenant Colonel Le Hong Tuyen, Political Commissar of the City Border Guard.

Lieutenant Colonel Tuan and his team focused on leading, directing, and proposing solutions to promote economic growth and economic restructuring associated with agricultural restructuring towards commodity production; proposing many effective solutions to promote national target programs on new rural construction, sustainable poverty reduction, and socio-economic development programs for ethnic minorities and mountainous areas.

In 2019, when Lieutenant Colonel Tuan arrived at Hong Thuong commune to take up his duties, the percentage of poor and near-poor households was high. But by the end of 2024, the percentage of poor and near-poor households had decreased sharply (poor households were below 5%, near-poor households were below 12%), meeting the criteria of a new rural commune.

Implementing the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, by 2024, the commune has completed over 220 houses; in which the sweat, dedication, and efforts of officers and soldiers of Quang Nham Border Guard Station are immeasurable. There are 4 houses with full funding support from the city Border Guard, with a total amount of nearly 360 million VND. Hong Thuong Commune is continuing to implement the elimination of 10 temporary houses, affirming the responsibility of the local government and Border Guard force, building and fostering trust among the people.

As a solid "bridge" between the locality and the Border Guard, Lieutenant Colonel Le Anh Tuan has proactively advised the local Party Committee and government to coordinate with Quang Nham Border Guard Station to direct the promotion of extensive propaganda among the masses about their responsibility in participating in protecting the border and national border markers.

Last year, the People joined officers and soldiers of Quang Nham Border Guard Station in patrolling and protecting the border and border markers with nearly 25,000 participants; providing many valuable sources of information to serve the command and direction of the task of protecting the national border and maintaining political security and social order and safety in the area.

We believe that with his extensive experience as a Deputy Secretary of the Commune Party Committee and his responsibility and dedication to the people and the border land, Lieutenant Colonel Tuan will continue to fulfill all tasks well,” said Lieutenant Colonel Cao Chi Luyen, Deputy Chief of Political Affairs of the City Border Guard.
