Ly Son people gather at the soldier's memorial ceremony to show gratitude to the heroic Hoang Sa soldiers.

On March 25, the An Hai Communal House Festival Committee (Ly Son District, Quang Ngai Province) and the clans of An Hai Village organized the Hoang Sa Soldiers' Commemoration Ceremony. The ceremonies of announcing the welcoming of the gods, the ceremony of entering the ceremony, the main ceremony of the Hoang Sa Soldiers' Commemoration Ceremony and the boat releasing ceremony... were organized according to traditional rituals, reenacting the ceremony of sending off the heroic soldiers of the past who obeyed the royal court to the Hoang Sa archipelago to plant markers, erect steles, patrol, exploit products, and affirm Vietnam's sovereignty over the East Sea.
