Tien Well Mountain – Unique natural symbol of Ly Son Island
Gieng Tien Mountain, also known as Fire Mountain, located in Tay village, An Vinh commune, is the second largest volcano on Ly Son island. The mountain is about 90m high, 500m in diameter, and once erupted with debris and ash covering an area of nearly 0.45 km². The special feature of Gieng Tien Mountain lies in its round and pointed crater, resembling a giant coin, from which the evocative name "Gieng Tien" was born. This is not only a valuable geological vestige but also an attractive destination with majestic landscape bearing the mark of time and nature.
