British representative Milla Magee has just suddenly announced her withdrawal from the Miss World 2025 contest despite participating for nearly 2 weeks in India.
On her personal page, Milla shared: “One of the greatest gifts of this journey has been the friendships with amazing women from all over the world. From the laughter to the conversations, I will always cherish every moment. Wherever we are, we are forever connected.”
Milla and the Miss England organization have yet to officially announce the reason for this withdrawal decision.
In the comments section, fans and contestants expressed their regret that Milla left the competition at an important time. Miss Türkiye - Idil Bilgen sent a message: "You are my favorite person on this continent. I wish you not to give up. Wish you success on the upcoming journey."
With Milla's withdrawal, the 72nd Miss World competition has 107 contestants left.

At 23, Milla is a lifeguard, photographer and model. In April 2024, she was crowned Miss England. Her charity project focuses on teaching CPR skills in schools across the UK.
She once candidly shared about her journey to overcome body image issues: “When I was 14, I weighed nearly 90kg and was often bullied at school. I was determined to lose weight, but only to a healthy level that suited my body shape.”
Milla is proud to be the first plus-size beauty queen to represent England, bringing with her a message of confidence and self-acceptance.
