Ha Giang people with a 24-day journey across Vietnam by motorbike

BHG - With the desire to test himself through a journey across Vietnam by motorbike, from September 1 to 24, Mr. Ma Quoc Truong, born in 1972, in group 12, Nguyen Trai ward, Ha Giang city, a member of the Ha Giang Runners Club, started from the North Pole of Lung Cu, Ha Giang with the destination being Ca Mau Cape. It is known that Mr. Truong rode his motorbike alone on this journey and brought the flag of the Ha Giang Runners Club to check in, marking the places he had visited.

Mr. Ma Quoc Truong departed from Lung Cu, Dong Van district on September 1, 2023.

In the first stage, he crossed the provinces of Cao Bang , Lang Son and then to Quang Ninh to participate in the 42km run at the Ha Long Marathon 2023. After that, he continued his journey to Ca Mau Cape. On September 24, Mr. Truong safely reached the destination at the southernmost tip of the country. Then he continued to ride his motorbike to Ha Tien in Kien Giang province. Overcoming the scorching sun of the Central region and sudden thunderstorms along the way, the total journey of Mr. Truong and his Dream motorbike has been through 35 provinces and cities.

Talking to us after arriving at Ca Mau Cape, Mr. Truong said that his journey had crossed about 3,600km. To be able to cross the country, one needs to have good health and proper nutrition. This was something he had personally trained for through daily jogging. Thanks to that, Mr. Truong has an extremely flexible physique to ensure this rather harsh journey.

Mr. Ma Quoc Truong also said that the impression through the journey across Vietnam by motorbike helped him see the development of the provinces and cities as well as the beauty of the homeland and people of Vietnam. During the journey, as a member of the Ha Giang runners club, Mr. Truong participated in running exchanges with a number of running clubs from provinces such as Khanh Hoa, Ben Tre, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City... Thereby, introducing the image of Ha Giang to friends from other provinces and cities. He also confided: The journey across Vietnam by motorbike is a wonderful experience that is not easy to have in life. During this trip, to overcome many difficult stages, some days traveling for 10 hours on the road, besides his own will, there was also the encouragement of relatives and friends.

After the journey across Vietnam, Mr. Truong continued to ride his motorbike from Kien Giang to Ho Chi Minh City to return to Hanoi by train. He said that this was also the first train trip in his life, and also his first trip across Vietnam by train.
