The initiator of the '0 dong' class

Mr. Nguyen Van Sau (67 years old), Secretary of the Party Cell of Residential Area No. 3, Head of Residential Group No. 6, Mai Dong Ward (Hoang Mai District, Hanoi ) always promotes the pioneering and exemplary nature of a Party member, is dedicated, devoted and responsible to his work, and works with the people to build a united and civilized residential area.

During his 24 years as the Head of the residential group, Mr. Sau has always been exemplary, enthusiastic, responsible, and has excellently completed all assigned tasks, gaining the trust, love, and respect of Party members and people. Since the beginning of 2024, Mr. Sau and the collective of the Party Cell of Residential Area No. 3 have promoted the implementation of tasks, mobilizing people in the residential area to unite and comply with the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws and policies. Thanks to that, Residential Area No. 3 has had many positive changes, the people are united, in agreement, and security and order are maintained.

Mr. Sau shared that in recent years, residential area No. 3 has paid special attention to fire prevention and fighting. Together with the residential area Party Committee, Mr. Sau has organized many meetings and dialogues to raise awareness of fire prevention and fighting among the people; directly mobilizing people to buy fire extinguishers. Especially in areas with mini apartments and collective apartments for rent, Mr. Sau has coordinated with the Front Committee of the residential group to recommend to the authorities at all levels and the police force to regularly inspect and fully equip fire prevention and fighting systems, ensuring safety for the people.

In 2022, due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, realizing that in the residential area there were still poor households, families in difficult circumstances, unable to afford to buy equipment for their children to study online, Mr. Sau initiated the organization of a "0 dong" class at the Cultural House of Residential Area No. 3, Mai Dong Ward. As a companion of Mr. Sau in opening the class as well as directly teaching in the class, Mr. Nguyen The Hoanh - Head of the Front Work Committee of Residential Group No. 6 shared that when seeing the residential area organize the class, the people were very sympathetic and excited. Students who wanted to study, and whose families were in difficult circumstances, were given priority to be admitted to the class and supported with free teaching. From the initial idea of ​​supplementing missing knowledge for students, especially students with difficult circumstances during the period of social distancing, the "0 dong" class is still maintained in the summer of 2024, with 6 classes and more than 100 students attending.

Recently, in the face of the complicated developments of storm No. 3 ( Yagi ) directly affecting the northern provinces, including Hanoi, Mr. Sau and the collective Party cell of residential area No. 3 regularly stayed on duty, updated information, and propagated proactive measures to the people to respond to storm No. 3, directly went to each house to check, ensuring the safety of the people. Thanks to that, residential area No. 3 was not much affected by the devastation of the storm. Immediately after that, responding to the call of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Mr. Sau and the collective Party cell of the residential area organized a call and mobilized people to participate in supporting the people of the northern provinces to overcome the consequences caused by storm No. 3, receiving nearly 40 million VND, directly supported at the Fatherland Front Committee of Mai Dong ward.

Taking on many roles and tasks of the residential area, Mr. Sau is still devoted to his work, closely attached to the people in the area. Mr. Sau always keeps in mind that he will try to help as much as he can while he is still healthy and capable, and will do his best to respond to the people's trust.

With practical contributions to the locality, residential group No. 6 of Mai Dong ward, of which Mr. Nguyen Van Sau is the group leader, has continuously completed its tasks excellently for many years. Mr. Sau himself has been a party member for 20 consecutive years and has completed his tasks excellently.
