Grill restaurant "explodes" on Phan Dinh Phung street

Initial information, the fire was discovered at around 8am on May 16 at a Korean barbecue restaurant located on Phan Dinh Phung Street (Ba Dinh District, Hanoi ).

People in the area discovered fire and smoke coming from the 5th floor of the house, so they shouted to let people inside know and informed the authorities.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Force of Ba Dinh Area Team (Hanoi City Police) urgently dispatched 2 specialized fire trucks and officers to the scene to extinguish the fire and prevent it from spreading.

Traffic Police Team No. 2 (Traffic Police Department of Hanoi City Police) also deployed officers to regulate traffic through the area and prevent congestion.

After about 30 minutes, the fire brigade controlled the fire.

Initial determination is that the fire did not cause any human casualties, property damage is being assessed.

Authorities are continuing to investigate and clarify the cause of the fire.
