Coordination program No. 09/CTr-BCA-MTTQ in Duc Tho district ( Ha Tinh ) has contributed to promoting the movement of the whole people to protect national security associated with campaigns and emulation movements.

On the morning of June 5, Duc Tho District People's Committee held a conference to summarize 10 years of implementing the coordination program No. 09/CTr - BCA - MTTQ dated August 1, 2023, between the Ministry of Public Security and the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front on "Promoting the movement of the entire people to protect national security in the new situation" for the period 2013-2023 (Coordination Program No. 09).

After 10 years of implementing Coordination Program No. 09, the police, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and member organizations from the district to the grassroots level in Duc Tho have concretized the contents of the mass movement to protect national security in the new situation.

Every year, the coordinating units issue specific plans for implementation in accordance with the situation and tasks of each unit, and at the same time thoroughly grasp and direct the police and the Fatherland Front of communes and towns to develop and sign coordination programs and regulations for effective implementation at the grassroots level.

Duc Lang Commune Police mobilized people to voluntarily hand over many types of homemade weapons, knives and swords of all kinds.

With the core role, the police force has coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front, agencies, departments, branches, unions, and localities to closely follow the content of the work program of the District 138 Steering Committee, promptly and effectively deploying all aspects of work, making an important contribution to the local socio -economic development. Accordingly, the District Police organized 1,150 propaganda sessions, 28 campaigns, and posted on social networks 5,700 documents to mobilize union members, association members, and people to participate in the movement of the whole people to protect national security.

Through this, the People have provided nearly 1,300 valuable sources of information, contributing to the fight against and prevention of all kinds of crimes. Through the campaigns, the People have handed over 95 guns, 14 military weapons, 4 explosives, nearly 70 bullets, 230 kg of firecrackers, 2 bombs, 50 swords of various types.

On this occasion, Duc Tho District People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 10 collectives and 18 individuals who had achievements in implementing the Coordination Program 09 between the Ministry of Public Security - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and member organizations, period 2013 - 2023.
