At 10:48 p.m. the same day, the task force stopped the car with license plate 75A driven by driver PCM (born in 1975, residing in Thua Thien- Hue ). Through inspection with professional technical means, the police determined that driver M. violated the alcohol concentration level at 0.064 mg/L of breath.
Talking to working group number 5, driver M. said that he is currently working in a district in Thua Thien - Hue.
The working group has drawn up a record of administrative violations and will send a notice of traffic violations to the violator's work unit for handling at the agency.
Previously, 6 working groups of the Ministry of Public Security have carried out inspections and directly handled violations of alcohol concentration in many provinces and cities across the country. During their work, these groups strictly implemented Directive No. 23 of the Secretariat on strengthening the Party's leadership in ensuring traffic order and safety in the new situation and Directive No. 10 of the Prime Minister on strengthening the work of ensuring road traffic order and safety in the new situation. Resolutely handle violations, handle them according to the motto "no exceptions, no forbidden areas". Thereby, many violations were discovered by cadres, party members, and armed forces.
On the evening of September 14, Working Group No. 3 of the Ministry of Public Security coordinated with the Traffic Police - Order Team of Phan Thiet City Police (Binh Thuan) to also discover a case of a District Party Secretary in the province violating alcohol concentration.
Or in Hai Phong City, the working group of the Ministry of Public Security consecutively discovered 3 drivers including: HTV - Chief of Office of the City People's Council; D.QM - Chief of Office of the Department of Foreign Affairs; NTĐ. - Secretary of the Youth Union of Viet Tiep Hospital violating alcohol concentration.
In Da Nang, the working group discovered that driver LQT - a Lieutenant Colonel, working in Military Region 5, violated the alcohol concentration at 1,229 mg/L of breath. This is a very high violation, more than 3 times higher than the highest violation prescribed in Decree 100.
In Hanoi, working group No. 2 of the Ministry of Public Security also handled 2 officers and soldiers of Hanoi City Police for violating alcohol concentration.
In the coming time, the working groups of the Ministry of Public Security will continue to urge, inspect and directly handle violations of alcohol concentration in localities with the goal of contributing to reducing traffic accidents related to alcohol in particular and traffic accidents in general.
