On March 5, the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province issued a plan to organize the Hue Community Ao Dai Week in 2024.
According to this plan, Hue Community Ao Dai Week 2024 will be held from June 24 to June 30. Organize a series of activities to honor, promote, and showcase Hue Ao Dai, art performances, combined with forms of propaganda, promotion, and honoring the image of Ao Dai; encourage and mobilize the participation and strong response of the community when participating in Hue Community Ao Dai Week 2024.

At the Hue Community Ao Dai Week 2024, there will be many unique cultural activities such as: Launching ceremony combined with opening of the Fine Arts Exhibition and Space for experimental activities, displaying and exchanging sewing skills of artisans from 3 regions; Incense and flower offering ceremony for Lord Nguyen Phuc Khoat; parade and gratitude to Lord Nguyen Phuc Khoat; incense offering to Emperor Minh Mang - the person who made Ao Dai become the national costume; Ao Dai art program " Hanoi - Hue - Saigon"; art program "Vietnamese Ao Dai with Hanbok/Hanfu; Ao Dai Dance activity...
Within the framework of the Week, there are also community response activities: Ao Dai activity in harmony with Hue; Ao Dai charm contest; "Ancient village Ao Dai" activity to recreate traditional life in Ao Dai costumes in Phuoc Tich ancient village; "Country market Ao Dai" activity...
On this occasion, agencies, departments and localities in Hue will organize activities related to Ao Dai to promote and encourage cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers, students, traders and the community to wear Ao Dai in the Hue Community Ao Dai Week 2024.
According to the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province, the Hue Community Ao Dai Week 2024 aims to exploit the strengths, brands and unique cultural values of Hue Ao Dai, build the image of Hue tourism associated with Ao Dai, and stimulate tourism development. Honor Hue Ao Dai, Vietnamese Ao Dai, affirm the brand "Hue - Capital of Ao Dai", contribute to promoting Hue culture associated with promoting tourism.
