Many errors in asset declaration at the Thua Thien Hue Civil Judgment Enforcement Department

The Inspectorate of the Ministry of Justice has just issued Document No. 56/KL-TTR concluding the inspection of the organization of staff and the management and use of the budget and public assets at the Civil Judgment Enforcement Department of Thua Thien - Hue.

One of the contents mentioned by the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Justice in the conclusion is the transparent declaration of assets and income.

The Inspector of the Ministry of Justice commented that, in general, the Thua Thien - Hue Civil Judgment Enforcement Department deployed and publicized the declaration of assets and basic income in accordance with regulations. The declarations were made according to the form and the time for declaration ensured the provisions of Decree No. 130/2020/ND-CP dated October 30, 2020 of the Government on controlling assets and income of people holding positions and powers in agencies, organizations and units.

However, there are still some shortcomings and errors such as: At the Thua Thien - Hue Civil Judgment Enforcement Department, there is a lack of the first declaration of assets and income of the Civil Judgment Enforcement Sub-Departments of Hue City, Huong Tra Town, Phong Dien, Quang Dien and Phu Vang. There is a lack of declaration of assets of 5 individuals.

The asset and income declaration tracking book that does not have annual asset declaration data is not in compliance with the provisions of Point c, Clause 1, Article of the Law on Anti-Corruption: " Establishing a record book to track declarations, delivery and receipt of declarations ".

There are 8 declarations of assets and income with incomplete information, but the Thua Thien - Hue Civil Judgment Enforcement Department did not guide the declarants to make additional declarations or re-declarations, which is not properly performing the responsibilities of the head of the unit as prescribed in Point b, Clause 1, Article 37 of the Law on Anti-Corruption.
